"Memory as Architecture, Memory as Skin" highlights pivotal developments across the late Swiss artist Heidi Bucher's body of work. Front and center are selections from her most iconic series, "Skinnings," which consist of expansive latex sheets that Bucher would cast on architectural surfaces—the first template having been her studio floor in 1976.

The exhibition also features Bucher's Bodyshells, her 1972 video work, in which she realized conceptual and aesthetic themes that would lead to the inception of "Skinnings."

Heidi Bucher, Untitled (Parquet piece), ca. 1985. Textile, latex, mother-of-pearl pigments, 22 1/2 x 22 1/2 inches.
