“Arm Measures,” Patricia Treib’s second solo show at Bureau, features new and recent paintings from the Brooklyn-based artist. Treib’s deceptively simple abstract compositions invite close looking, as many of the painted forms evoke recognizable objects—like the flower vase in Interlude II (2020) [pictured].
Treib’s first monograph, featuring work from the past seven years, will be published to coincide with this exhibition.
