This special exhibition presents a selection of photographs from Stephen Shore’s “Survivors in Ukraine” series. Shot between 2012 and 2013, these images document the lives and homes of Holocaust survivors living in Ukraine, in addition to the still lives and landscapes for which the photographer is best known. A poignant testament to war, witness, and survivorship, the series takes on special resonance today, when hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians face displacement resulting from the senseless Russian invasion.
