Through its online streaming platform, Film Forum hosts the New York City premiere of Nomad: In The Footsteps Of Bruce Chatwin. Written and directed by Werner Herzog, the documentary follows the German filmmaker around the world as he explores and honors the memory of his late friend, celebrated British travel writer Bruce Chatwin.
As he gathers stories from those who knew Chatwin at various points throughout his itinerant life, Herzog begins to realize the full extent of his friend's legacy—being as far-reaching and unknowable as paths not yet taken.
